WORKING PRINCIPLE
UKA Air Bellows are positive displaced rotary machines consisting of two co-rotors rotating in a specially formatted enclosure. The movement of the rotors is synchronized by means of timing gears placed on shafts, so there is no friction between the rotors and the rotors and the enclosure. During rotation, the gas is taken by suction through rotors and transmitted to the pressing side. This movement is repeated four times in each period of the drive shaft. Thus, the volume of transmitted gas is proportional to the rotation albeit rate and is almost constant in pressure changes. Operating pressure is the pressure caused by friction losses of the gas in the system.
